Swimming
Swimming strengthens your cardiovascular system and the major muscle groups in your upper and lower body. Through our partnership with Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation, the Gleneagles Country Club Aquatic Center is available for practice and training. The Gleneagles County Club Aquatic Center is an accessible community swimming pool open seasonally.
Competition opportunities include local, national, and international events. The sport of swimming (or Para swimming) for athletes with disabilities is governed by the International Paralympic Committee and coordinated by World Para Swimming.
For more information about Handcycling and how to get involved, please contact the CMAA Therapeutic Recreation Complex at (561) 966-7088.
